ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping exceptional user experiences for a variety of digital products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business strategists, developers, and other designers, to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that meet user needs. Your insights and expertise will be instrumental in driving design innovation and ensuring that user-centered principles guide every project. This role offers the opportunity to lead workshops, conduct user research, and influence product direction, all while working in a dynamic and creative environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive user research and analysis to gather insights into user behaviors and preferences, effectively translating findings into actionable design concepts.
  • Develop personas, storyboards, customer journeys, scenarios, flowcharts, and prototypes that clearly communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
  • Lead workshops to collaboratively define and align on new products and services with clients.
  • Manage and coordinate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications and maintain design integrity.
  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to merge technology, business, and design expertise, creating innovative solutions for a new generation of users.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results, fostering a culture of improvement and adaptability.


    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed degree (BA/MA/Diploma) in a design-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in UX/UI design, service design, or related areas, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Proven track record in managing state-of-the-art design projects, demonstrating a passion for developing user-friendly services and products.
  • Experience in taking responsibility for specific areas within projects and guiding agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent skills in creating personas, storyboards, customer journeys, flowcharts, and prototypes.
  • Hands-on attitude with the ability to implement concepts quickly and pragmatically.
  • Ability to question the status quo and drive improvements in products and services.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, fluent in both German and English.
  • Willingness to travel for client projects.
