Who You Are

Our team is seeking an experienced and creative YouTube Video Editor. You will be responsible for creating engaging and intriguing short-form 15-60 second vertical videos that keep our audience hooked; with content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in the Minecraft and broader social media and pop culture community.

Your Responsibilities and Skills

• Understanding what keeps the Eystreem/Firelight Audience engaged and intrigued (Keeping viewers "Hooked")
• Ability to mimic existing editing styles, such as those in the Eystreem/Firelight content.
• Understanding Cuts, Flow and Variation in Tempo (Leaving no "Dead Space" & Being aware of the "Pace")
• Having a Creative outlook (Keeping up to date with the Minecraft Community & Trends in social media and pop culture)
• Understanding and utilising Music ("BPM" & When to use different genres & Transitioning)

• Understanding and utilising SFX effectively (When, Where & What to add)
• Understanding and utilising VFX effectively (Keyframing, Color grading, Ingesting footage etc.)

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of experience in video editing.
• Experience and understanding in YouTube Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, Impressions, etc)
• Experience using SFX and VFX.
• Great communication and activeness.
• Experience in Premiere Pro.
• Ability to meet and understand deadlines.
• Ability to understand feedback and act on it.
• Knowledge and understanding of Minecraft, social media and pop-culture trends.
