Mobile QA Automation Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and a strong background in both front-end and back-end software testing, with a strong focus on automation tools and frameworks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with PyTest, BDD framework, Appium, Python.
• Experience working with Android, and iOS emulators, and simulators.
• Experience working with any cloud platform like SauceLabs, BrowserStack, or any equivalent tools.
• Experience working with CICD tools like GitLabs, or any equivalent tools.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end systems, including writing automated tests.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in building and maintaining automation test frameworks for Mobile, API platforms.
• Proficiency in using testing tools and languages such as TestRail, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Python, JavaScript, GitLab, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like Jenkins, GitLab and experience integrating CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for Mobile platforms using tools/frameworks like PyTest, Selenium, and Appium automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing automated testing using Selenium/Appium.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Kanban, and a deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• A solid understanding of the retail, e-commerce, and pet industries.
• A positive attitude and a proven ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes and continuously improving testing processes.
