Summary of Role:

Develop core software solutions involving data engineering, advanced analytics, and machine learning applications to advance automation, analytics insights, and predictive modeling effort.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop core software solutions involving data engineering, advanced analytics, and machine learning applications to advance automation, analytics insights, and predictive modeling effort. Participate in the entire application lifecycle from concept to deployment, and engage with stakeholders across the global team. Understand data systems and engineer the data as needed to enable analytics and machine learning application development Work with internal customers to understand application requirements and refine project proposals. Perform feasibility studies, develop applications, and work with stakeholders to deploy applications in a low-risk posture. Present project status to peers and the leadership team as needed. Solve complex technical problems and contribute to multiple projects at the same time. Develop and refine business processes, including best practices around the application life cycle, risk assessment and mitigation. Provide coaching, training, mentorship as needed to peers who are new to the advanced data analytics/machine learning field.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education - Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field of study.
• Experience - 4 years of industrial experience in design enablement, tapeout automation, advanced data science, and machine learning. Four years of experience is required in (1) tapeout engineering, (2) design-to-silicon cycle, including tapeout flow and resulting data files, (3) design enablement, (4) machine learning, (5) advanced data analytics, (6) cluster environment, Linux, (7) software development lifecycle, (8) Project ownership, (9) Python, Perl, Tcl, (10) EDA tools (Calibre, Brion).

Salary range: $134,472 - $158,600
