Network Engineer

Description

We are looking for Network Engineer for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managed Devices including routers switches firewalls (except firewall policy management) proxies load balancers and other managed Devices to the card level (e.g. location rack unit manufacturer cards/modules IP address subnet mask FQDN)
• Association of servers and storage sub-systems to their respective managed Devices
• For each network Device relevant configuration information including at minimum any fields defined in the Enterprise Configuration Management system and
• Network topology (e.g. addressing schemes VLAN configurations topology drawings).
• Have full responsibility for managing CMDB including configure validate and maintain all software equipment and facilities infrastructure necessary for the Normal Operations of the CMDB.
• Update the Configuration Management Database following any Change to a network Device including:

reflect all network Devices that are added modified or deleted from the operating environment

store and update current and previous configurations for all network Devices for the duration of the Term and maintain all historical data on-line for the term of this SOW

make all configuration data and network Device configurations available to CUSTOMER and

maintain all configuration documentation up to date (including topology drawings).

Maintain all interfaces processes and procedures required to interface the network CMDB to the CUSTOMER approved enterprise Configuration Management system.
