Node.js Developer/Senior Developer

This position involves developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications using Node.js to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions for web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration, optimize performance, and enhance overall functionality. Key responsibilities include managing the interchange of data between the server and users, developing server-side logic, maintaining the database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and blob storage
• Communicate task progress and project updates to clients and team members
• Investigate new technologies to enhance client solutions
• Maintain clear code comments and organized project files
• Contribute to technical documentation and deployment guides
• Perform testing and collaborate with QA to ensure applications meet standards, taking ownership of error and bug minimization

As a Senior Developer, you will:

• Review code to ensure it is maintainable, error-free, and compliant with project requirements
• Provide feedback and training to junior developers

Technical Qualifications:

• Experience with Node.js and its frameworks
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Proficient in using Serverless framework to deploy REST APIs via API Gateway and Lambda functions
• In-depth understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Good understanding of Cloud concepts
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database concepts
• Familiarity with REST API design
• Good to Have: Full-stack experience, with proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js

Education and Work Experience:

• Over 2+ years of working experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
