OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

Their delivery options include vaginal and Cesarean sections, with choices for OB/GYN or midwife assistance and 24/7 on-site anesthesia services. They offer skin-to-skin contact and private delivery rooms equipped with customizable lighting and music settings. St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 1,600 annual deliveries.

Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi is a 215-bed facility founded in 1915 and part of Rush Health Systems, which includes seven hospitals and more than 50 specialty and primary care practices that serve the citizens of East Central Mississippi and West Alabama.

The hospital's Family Birth Center, one of the first of its kind in the state, features a recently renovated labor and delivery unit with 18 suites where new mothers can experience all phases of the birthing process in a single room. The Birth Center also offers midwifery services and houses a modern, spacious 12-bed NICU.
