Security is prioritized, with newborns wearing ID tags to ensure safety during their stay. Additionally, IU Health partners with Riley Children’s Health to offer advanced birthing options, including water births and midwifery services, for complex procedures and specialized care. IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 1,300 annual deliveries.
