Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine, in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian is recruiting for a Site Chief at our Lower Manhattan Hospital location. The department is nationally recognized for its excellence in clinical care, research, and education.
  • The Site Chief is responsible for the clinical leadership of women’s health services located at Lower Manhattan Hospital. This includes leadership of the newly renovated labor and delivery and post-partum suites.
  • The Site Chief is also responsible for OB/GYN QA in concert with other QA leaders within the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell sphere.
  • This position provides medical oversight, expertise, and leadership to ensure the delivery of quality health care services, quality improvement programs across inpatient and outpatient care facilities, and the development and implementation of innovative clinical programs.

Base Salary Range: $400,000 - $500,000
*Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full-time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program and be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. The candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License and possess a commitment to excellence and teaching.
