High Level Requirements:

• At least 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience managing databases on Linux/AIX/HPUX
• Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c and 19c Database Administration
• Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Oracle Exadata and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) administration.
• Database, Hardware/Appliances Migrations, Upgradations and Patching
• Oracle Goldengate Replication.
• Oracle OEM 12C (Oracle Enterprise Manager).
• Oracle Data Guard.
• ASM/ACFS (Automatic Storage Management/ASM Cluster Filesystem).
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• RMAN Backup & Recovery.
• Database & SQL Tuning and Performance analysis skills.
• Automations using Ansible, Python and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Oracle Certification in Exadata, Oracle RAC and Oracle 12c or higher Versions.

Detailed Role requirements

• Extensive experience in Oracle Exadata administration, Management and Tuning.
• Experience in administration and management of Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
• In-depth understanding of Oracle Cache Fusion and fine-tuning global cache and enqueues to improve RAC performance.
• Proactive monitoring of database performance and Fine-Tuning related database parameters.
• Develop, implement, and enforce Database security best practices.
• Analyzing and fine tune database, SQL Queries and UNIX performance.
• Troubleshooting complex distributed Transactions issues and enhance timely availability of data to downstream applications (Two-Phase Commit and Materialized Views).
• Ability to design and implement/tune efficient data models including partitioning, read scalability, etc.
• Performing proactive capacity planning and reporting.
• Automation skills in Ansible, Python and Shell Scripting.
• Migration of data across databases using Oracle Datapump (expdp and impdp).
• User Administration and security management.
• Experience in integrating Oracle with directory services.
• Maintenance of database like rebuilding indexes, analyzing of tables, segment advisor.
• Troubleshooting issues related to RMAN backups.
• Troubleshooting performance issues related to database and queries.
• Troubleshooting issues related to Cache Fusion, RAC Performance, Scalability issues.
• Ability to configure, maintain and perform disaster recovery configuration using Data Guard.

Excellent knowledge and experience in ITIL process including Incident, Change, Problem and Asset Management.
