Painter/Laborer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and labor tasks, contributing to both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. • Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush/roller methods. • Perform drywall repairs and finishing to ensure a smooth surface for painting. • Execute caulking tasks to seal gaps and improve the finish of painted areas. • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks. • Assist in industrial painting projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations. • Collaborate with team members on construction estimating and project planning as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects. Skills • Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques. • Experience with drywall installation and repair. • Knowledge of commercial painting practices. * • Competence in caulking applications for sealing joints effectively. • Background in industrial painting environments preferred. • Ability to operate power tools safely, including drills, saws, and sanders. • Skills in construction estimating to assist with project planning. • Experience in frame carpentry is beneficial.
