THE ROLE: Kiosk Attendant-Brand Ambassador

We’re looking for…

We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic  Brand Ambassador to work ON-SITE at our new pop-up kiosk at King of Prussia Mall.  This position will be short-term and part-time working approximately 20 hours per week.  You will be part of a new strategy to attract and sign up Members to our Gilt website. You will interact with prospective Members at the kiosk, explaining the benefits of joining, what they can expect from the shopping experience, and talk with them about their favorite labels and fashion trends. You will also describe the benefits of our loyalty program and potentially offer discounts/free shipping or prize drawings to attract interest.  This is a role for someone who feels comfortable entering into conversations with the public and convincing them to try something new.

What You’ll Do:

• Your primary focus in this role will be interacting with prospective Members with professionalism and positivity. You will become a brand expert, able to talk to shoppers about the benefits of shopping on Gilt and how becoming a Member gets them access to these great savings.  You will answer questions about how to sign up, use an Ipad to walk them thru boutiques, and positively introduce them to Gilt.  You will track interest in the brand via regular summaries to leadership, offer new ideas on how to attract shoppers to the kiosk and provide feedback on responses to promotions, etc.

• • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Outgoing personality, able to talk to anyone
  • Professional and polished communication skills
  • Experience with e-commerce retail
  • Knowledge of designers, labels and fashion trends
  • Able to navigate via an Ipad to show website to shoppers
  • Basic technology troubleshooting of kiosk equipment and wifi
  • Able to work independently and self-motivated and responsible
  • Able to stand/walk around for up to 8 hours if needed
  • Able to adhere to a dress code (black and white professional attire)

Expected Base Salary Range: $20.00 hr
