Part-Time Marketing Assistant

Temple University's Global Programs Department is searching for a Part-Time Marketing Assistant! Position Summary The Global Programs department in the Office of Global Engagement is seeking a part-time marketing assistant to support marketing initiatives across two key areas: Global Programs – which includes inbound study abroad, exchange, and Dual Master’s Bachelor’s degree program – and the Temple Center for American Language and Culture (TCALC), which offers short-term English Language programs. Working under the supervision of the Associate Director, the part-time Marketing Assistant will be responsible for creating digital and print content, including social media campaigns, email marketing, web design and updates, video production, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, attention to detail, and an interest in international education. Assist with special projects as needed and perform other job-related duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience • Six (6) months of related experience required • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree Required Skills and Abilities • Familiarity with social media management and content creation • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff • Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently • Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to interpret and carry out written and verbal instructions and procedures • Demonstrated ability to prioritize well and focus on completion of tasks and objectives while handling multiple tasks, along with strong attention to detail • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Slate, Campaign Monitor, or similar platforms Preferred Skills and Abilities • An enthusiasm for working in an international, inclusive, and multicultural environment • Familiar with social media and messaging platforms, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, LINE, etc. • A familiarity with international education, international student populations, or higher ed This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote). The duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
