Pharmacist (Bilingual: Mandarin/Cantonese preferred)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical pharmacy, with experience in both acute and long-term care settings. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, managing medication therapies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for compounding medications, conducting patient assessments, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective medication administration. • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication therapy and health outcomes. • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized medication management plans. • Utilize pharmacy software and electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and inventory management. • Administer immunizations and provide education on medication use and potential side effects. • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pain management strategies. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient information. • Participate in critical care initiatives and support pediatric patients as needed. • Oversee pharmacy technician activities and provide guidance on best practices. Requirements • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. • Licensed in NYS • Excellent patient service skills with a focus on patient care and assessment. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
