Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail pharmacy, patient care, and medication management. This role involves working closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use, while also providing exceptional patient service. The Staff Pharmacist will play a key role in dispensing medications, conducting patient assessments, and managing inventory within the pharmacy. Duties • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication therapy management and patient education. • Assess patient needs and medication regimens to optimize therapeutic outcomes. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. • Administer immunizations and provide clinical services • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions in EMR/EHR systems. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. • Manage pharmacy inventory effectively, including ordering, stocking, and disposing of medications appropriately. • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations. • Stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care practices. Requirements • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution. • Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice. • Proficient in pharmacy software applications and inventory management systems. • Strong knowledge of medical management practices, including acute care protocols and pain management strategies. • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
