Responsibilities • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations. • Manage medication therapy for patients, including compounding and dispensing. • Provide clinical support and consultation to healthcare providers. • Conduct patient assessments to optimize medication regimens. • Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate training programs. • Maintain accurate inventory management and control processes. • Implement quality assurance measures to enhance patient safety. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. • Qualifications • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. • Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. • Extensive experience in LTC pharmacy and critical care settings. • Completion of a pharmacy residency program preferred. • Proficiency in pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems. • Strong clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on patient-centered care. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
