PHARMACIST PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the overall health and wellness of our community. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices, patient service, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Duties • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. • Provide immunizations as part of patient care services. • Utilize aseptic techniques in the preparation of sterile products. • Compound medications tailored to individual patient needs when necessary. • Offer expert advice on medication therapy management, including potential side effects and interactions. • Conduct health screenings and provide counseling on wellness programs. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management. • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions while ensuring confidentiality. • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations. • Stay current with advancements in pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmacy practice. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. • Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. • Experience in pediatrics or IV infusion is a plus but not required. • Strong knowledge of physiology and pharmacology principles. • Proven ability to provide exceptional patient service and care. • Familiarity with compounding medications is advantageous. • Experience working with pharmacy technicians in a collaborative environment is preferred.
