Better Home Health Care is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (Nurse Educator) for our Forest Hills office. Nurse Educator The Staff Development/Educator is a New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse who organizes, directs and instructs the agencies certified home health aide training and in-service programs. Job Type: PER-DIEM Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities: • Supervises and teaches in order to improve practice within the Agency. • Works closely with the Director of Clinical Services to establish methods to facilitate and attain the objectives of the teaching program. • Promotes Staff Development • Maintaining standards and requirements set by the State of New York Department of Health regarding attendance, curriculum, student performance, required submissions and physical set-up of training room. Employment - Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays - normal business hours Qualifications and Skills Requirements: • New York State Licensed Registered Nurse • A Valid Driver's license • Minimum one year home care experience. • BSN preferred • Computer literate Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $5,000.00 per month Schedule: • Monday to Friday Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: • Home care: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required) • RN License (Required) Work Location: In person
