Pharmacy Technician - Floor Tech/Order Entry

Critical Care Rx is a long-term care pharmacy that provides comprehensive pharmaceutical services to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Illinois. Due to the rapid growth of this healthcare sector and our company, we are seeking qualified pharmacy technicians for a full-time order entry position. Order entry technicians should have the knowledge and skills to accurately input drug orders into the computer, communicate with nursing home staff, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize tasks in a time-efficient manner. We desire stellar customer service skills, a positive team attitude, data entry accuracy and awareness of medication safety to minimize drug errors, and a strong work ethic. Floor technician responsibilities may include but are not limited to: packing and labeling medications, compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations, operating pharmacy robots, replenishing convenience kits, preparing medications for delivery, and more. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM, Saturday 9:00AM-1:00PM. Must have IL pharmacy tech license and PTCB certification.
