Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).
Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT.

Job Description
THE ROLE: Platform Engineer (New York, NY).
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Responsibilities include: Overall integrity of server infrastructure, including VMWare, storage platforms, Active Directory, various server OS and hardware environments. Prepare detailed requirements and specifications for new/modified systems including supporting documentation and designs. Install/configure, design/build, and maintain systems hardware, software, and data center infrastructure in accordance with corporate and security standards. Design, build, and implement global high-availability systems, data integrity, security and disaster recovery configurations. Automate routine tasks and configurations of systems. Collaborate with engineering, application, global offices, vendors and operational groups to architect, design, build, and maintain security and application delivery solutions. Conduct technical research regarding user requests for new/modified systems or problem resolution. Learn, test, implement, and recommend alternatives to existing commercial products. Troubleshoot server issues across multiple platforms and technologies to solve complex issues with server hardware, virtualization, storage, operating systems while following downtime procedures. Ensure user satisfaction by providing technical assistance and user communication. Monitor global system performance and carry out performance tuning. Participate in major cross-functional projects affecting overall business, product, or service leadership. 40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. $137,114 - $150,000/year.
YOUR STORY:
Master's degree in Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or closely related and 60 months experience as a Manager InfraOps Specialist, Sr Associate - Projects, IT Analyst or similar Network Administrator position. 60 mo. experience in: Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Dynamics 365, AAD, Proofpoint Email Gateway, OKTA, Freshservice for Ticketing, Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Cloud, PowerShell. Telecommuting permitted.
