Plumber – Bay Area (San Jose)

Overview We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing and a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves working on various plumbing projects, including installations, repairs, and maintenance in both residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks. • Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installations. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. • Experience with carpentry, remodeling, and maintenance person tasks is beneficial. • Previous construction site experience is preferred. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
