Plumber Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks. • Perform pipe threading and assembly as needed for installations. • Conduct welding tasks when required for specific plumbing projects. • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to complete projects efficiently. • Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as necessary. • Provide maintenance person services including carpentry and remodeling when required. Experience • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. • Previous construction site experience is preferred. • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and installations. • Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor is essential. • A valid commercial driving license is advantageous but not mandatory.
