Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Blockchain/Backend Engineer to joinour team. In this role, you will work on the design and implementation of our D3 Protocolconnecting traditional DNS and web3 naming technologies to create a unified naming systemcompatible across the Internet and all blockchains. You will play a critical role in developing andmaintaining our core platform APIs and smart contracts supporting multiple L1/L2 blockchains.Familiarity with smart contracts and blockchain standards such as ERC-721, ERC-1155, andERC-20 is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate them intotechnical specifications and features.

2. Lead the research, design, implementation, deployment and monitoring of the D3Protocol that enables tokenization of domains as Real World Assets (RWAs) onto theblockchain.

3. Research, implement and maintain smart contracts to enable “DomainFi” applicationsacross multiple L1/L2 blockchains. This includes tokenization, name resolution,secondary trading, and lending/borrowing.

4. Implement backend services to interface with blockchain and traditional DNSRegistry/Registrar infrastructure.

5. Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the protocol and application.

6. Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging.

7. Maintain and optimize the performance of existing codebase and address any bugs orissues that arise.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in webdevelopment, blockchain, and smart contract development.

Qualifications:

1. Strong passion for Blockchain technologies and protocols.

2. Extensive knowledge and experience in multiple blockchain ecosystems including L1 / L2 chain architectures, smart contract development and deployment, blockchain bridges, oracles, indexers, decentralized finance, and NFT marketplaces.

3. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and additional coursework are a plus.

4. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js and MySQL/Postgres.

5. Minimum 3 years experience in blockchain development using Solidity/Rust, with strong understanding of distributed systems, consensus algorithms and storage subsystems.

6. Familiarity with Git version control and Agile methodologies for collaborative development.

7. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced startup environment.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Pluses:

• DevOps experience with Kubernetes, Digital Ocean, Google Cloud, AWS, and Linuxenvironments.

• Familiarity with NestJS and GraphQL.

• Have prior experience maintaining or creating blockchain oracles.
