Principal FPGA / Embedded Software Engineer

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a senior embedded software / FPGA engineer. The selected candidate will design, develop and test innovative solutions to challenging problems of national significance. We use the latest technologies to develop advanced systems for radar surveillance, electronic warfare, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and much more. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex FPGA/embedded SW architectures
• Apply advanced engineering principals and concepts to develop original research
• Participate in team-based environments for large systems
• Lead small and/or large technical teams
• Provide engineering support for production programs
• Regularly interface with technical and program teams
• Use scripting languages such as Python for testing and automation

What You Bring to the Team - Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or related degree with twelve (12) or more years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated technical experience with FPGAs and embedded processors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills in daily activities
• 5 percent travel may be required
