Job Description:

As a Digital Aperture Technology (DAT) program manager, you will be responsible for the execution of a complex development program for new technology. You will help manage a large, geographically dispersed team and program through design maturation, build, and Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and into Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP)/Full Rate Production (FRP). The ADG division specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS/UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure Earned Value Management (EVM) is utilized effectively to help manage the program• Utilize and execute an effective risk and opportunity process for the program• Utilize an effective change management process to eliminate scope growth and capture change proposals • Propose new work and act as capture managers for ECPs• Build strong customer relationships and meet customer commitments• Lead IPT teams of Engineering, Operations, Purchasing/Subcontracts Management, Finance, Contracts and Quality to support on time delivery• Identify continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities• Provide concise presentations and reports to executive management on status, potential issues, risks, and solution recommendations• Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise• Up to 5% travel may be required

Qualifications:

• Active/Current Secret Clearance• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• 8+ years of experience using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools to monitor and report status on program execution

• 8+ years of experience leading development programs with value greater than/equal to $100M

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated technical aptitude• MBA and/or PMP certification preferred• 15+ years of experience with a strong understanding of DoD program management methodologies (includes developing resource loaded IMS, executing IBR, managing complex risks, strong development program management skills)• 10+ years professional experience as a Program or Project Manager leading program execution and proposal preparation, including technical description, statement of work, and cost/schedule estimation for both sole-source and competitive proposals• Experience leading teams in a matrixed organization• Significant experience with risk and opportunity management, change management, capture/proposal management, financial forecasting, leading geographically dispersed teams • Proficient using the advanced features of the entire MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)• Excellent people skills with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)• Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
