Principal Software Developer

Job Overview We are currently seeking a top-grade motivated performer to serve as a Principal Software Developer. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years’ experience primarily in .NET C# and JavaScript to join our IT department to build and support our functional applications. Primary responsibilities will be to design and develop applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, Vue.JS, JavaScript, and SQL. • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to enhance application functionality. • Conduct code reviews and maintain version control using GitHub. • Implement front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.JS, Nuxt and Tailwind CSS or similar. • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability by leveraging Azure cloud services. • Troubleshoot and debug applications across various platforms including Linux and Windows. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment and maintenance. • Support other team members who encounter issues with production systems. Experience • Proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure. • Proficiency in programming languages including C#, Vue.JS, JavaScript, and SQL. • Knowledge in NetSuite SuiteScript is a plus • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful API design, and front-end frameworks. • Experience with database management systems like SQL Server. • Experience using and integrating with Azure services such as Service Bus, Functions Apps and AI services. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile team environment. • Understanding of application development principles including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and security best practices. • Experience with Git for version control; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus. • Previous exposure to quantum engineering concepts is advantageous but not required.
