Process Engineer/Scientist

Job Description

Organon is hiring a Process Engineer/Scientist to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Pack Technical Operations team on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract as a Process Scientist or Engineer. You’ll have the chance to learn new skills and gain a deeper technical understanding of the packaging process. We are looking for someone eager to learn and be part of a very busy team dedicated to supporting process improvements and productivity projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for all processes involved in the packaging of products on site.

• Co-ordinate and/or initiate process improvement projects.

• Investigate and follow up on issues arising from packaging or laboratory deviations, establish assignable causes for atypical processing events, and propose appropriate actions to minimize rework and improve process capability.

• Comply with standards in policies, procedures, guidelines, and SOPs, and comment/author as appropriate.

• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement (e.g., productivity, systems robustness) using appropriate LSS tools.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Excellenttechnical communication skills

• Proven project management skills.

• Proven analytical approach to problem-solving.

• Positive approach to team working and continuous improvement.

• Experience with packaging equipment is desirable.
