Your Role and Responsibilities
Effective procurement activities include identifying requirements selecting suppliers and managing supplier relationships contract negotiations and managing purchase orders from start to finish ensuring high levels of risk management.
You will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensure sourcing strategy implementation as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes to the team.
This role requires both strategic and operational skills as there is also a requirement to be hands on the sourcing activities. The successful candidate will enjoy balancing the two different elements of the role and will support other members of the team.
As a self-driven Procurement Leader you will support internal clients environment.
You will be responsible for supporting sourcing requirements and supporting client categories management team and managing the contractual commitments for the categories required in Israel. You will report to the Head of Procurement Italy & SPGI. You will conduct tendering activities market analysis including market drivers supplier profiles and relative negotiating positions and support client sourcing strategies as well as provide guidance and lead to the local Procurement team in Israel.

• You will contribute to integrated sourcing strategy which delivers savings and drives category transformation through time. Deliver and execute on sourcing events to support the strategy including tail spend management and supplier consolidation
• You will communicate and negotiate with internal clients and suppliers through all levels of organization primary interface to key category client stakeholders

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Extensive and proven experience managing supply chain operations preferably in the IT Industry
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Team Lader or Procurement Manager in a complex and multinational environment
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and ability in supplier scouting
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools including preferable SAP Ariba
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts invoicing and negotiation terms.
  • Management and leadership skills within a Procurement context.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary experience
• Proactive character and team player attitude
• Strong decision-making skills and demonstrated negotiation expertise
• Strong leadership skills: ability to lead and influence other stakeholders and team members to work towards the same goals.
• Fluent English language skills
• Attitude and flexibility to learn and work with different IT tools and experience with dashboards
• Preferable but not mandatory Supplier relationship management expertise
