The ideal candidate will act as a mid-senior level "Reliability Engineer", having previous experience in designing, configuring, deploying, managing, and automating AWS Core Services like S3, IAM, EC2, Route53, SNS, SQS, ELB, CloudWatch, Lambda and VPC.

Essential Job Functions

• Identifies customer purchasing requirements and provides technical specifications and related documentation to assist the business development staff in the sale of products and systems
• Assists in creating demonstration software and systems to showcase products and systems
• Responds to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications
• Assists in testing user configurations for system compatibility. Provides support in the resolution of system malfunction and/or refers as appropriate
• Monitors and records system installation/maintenance progress to document progress and matters of significance
• Interacts with engineering groups to assist in basic design changes to equipment. Assists in tracking the progress of the projects with accountability to the customer, project manager and management to ensure an on-time and smooth product launch for the customer

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred
• Three or more years of applications engineering, field support or technical sales experience
• Experience in automating cloud deployments using Terraform.
• Experience working with overall department/account business objectives and goals
• Experience working with operating systems
• Experience working with software tools including compilers, assemblers, debuggers and simulators
• Experience working with assembly languages such as HTML programming, MySQL, C, C++, etc

Other Qualifications

• Administering the deployment, management, and monitoring of applications deployed on AWS via CI/CD and/or containers.
• Maintaining the Jenkins pipeline and Perform code promotions through change management
• As a PeopleSoft Admin, Build, administer and troubleshoot PeopleSoft application systems in a high availability, fast paced, multi-instance hosting environment.
• Work with Infrastructure team members (DBA, Network, NT, Unix Administrators) to build and deliver services.
• Assist with capacity planning and load balancing strategies.
• Monitor system performance, optimize resource utilization and troubleshoot underlying problems.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations between internal ERP systems and external vendor applications.
• Participate in supporting PeopleSoft application outside of normal business hours when needed.
• Maintain existing infrastructure documentation and create new documents as required.

Work Environment

• Office environment, on-site in Plano, TX
• May require shifts outside of standard business hours depending on priorities.
