Summary
The Grid Deployment Office (GDO) works to catalyze the development of new and upgraded electric infrastructure across the country by maintaining and investing in critical generation facilities; developing and upgrading high-capacity electric transmission lines nationwide; and deploying transmission and distribution technologies.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following:
- Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to assist with communications to targeted audiences; AND
- Researching existing standards and methodologies, and trends to develop new methods, criteria, and policies related to external engagement; AND
- Analyzing and strategizing the effectiveness of communication plans; AND
- Advising organizational leadership on communications strategies aimed at delivering information to internal and external audiences
- Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to assist with communications to targeted audiences; AND
- Researching existing standards and methodologies, and trends to develop new methods, criteria, and policies related to external engagement; AND
- Analyzing and strategizing the effectiveness of communication plans
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
