This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in optical communication components, working closely with a global R&D team. 【Location】San Jose, CA 【Position】Program Manager_Optical Communications 【Compensation】$130-150k 【Hiring Syle】Direct hiring, Full-time Job Requirements ・Gain a comprehensive understanding of advanced fiber optic and compound semiconductor-based optical communication technologies, products, and their broader ecosystems to collaborate effectively across internal teams, customers, and partners. ・Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industry trends and strategic alliances to pinpoint growth opportunities and strengthen market positioning. ・Develop and maintain a robust network of potential business partners, fostering strong strategic relationships. ・Proactively identify future customer needs and devise effective strategies to meet them. Qualifications ・Bachelor or higher degree of Science or Engineering degree. ・4+ years of dedicated business development experience within the data center systems, fiber optics, and/or optical communications industry. ・Strong written and oral communication skills, including the proven ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations, compelling proposals, and clear technical documents. ・Basic grasp of fiber optic communication, cabling, connectorization, network components, and/or compound semiconductor components, along with a knowledge of optical communications ecosystems. ・Proven experience working at or with hyperscale data center companies, their suppliers, and/or the broader data center ecosystem.
