In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Internship program where you will work as an Application Developer Intern. You will receive training that will allow you to explore all your technical skills such as: DevOps generative artificial intelligence architecture cloud infrastructure middleware platform full stack testing and others. You will be part of a wide variety of technology projects such as software development and application modernization and migration. In your role we expect you to take responsibility for:
- Completing 100% and certifying the training path for knowledge leveling with IBM and its partners' technologies (Associate Program + DoLab + mandatory IBM courses).
- Actively participating in different virtual or face-to-face spaces.
- Being agile with a design mindset attitude of continuous improvement and initiative.
- Completing user stories and meeting objectives as a team within the established timeframes.
- Proposing best practices and solutions to optimize processes.
- Complying with good conduct and information security policies.
- Documenting and communicating the work done in each of the assigned user stories and in follow-up meetings.
- Currently enrolled in a university degree program in areas such as: Computer Engineering Computer Systems Engineering Software Engineering Computer Science or any other related degree in technology or software development.
- Good academic performance.
- Full-time availability. (6 months or 1080 hours).
- Good communication skills.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Experience in a programming language.
- Participation in academic development projects.
The student must also:
- The internship must be a requirement of the curriculum or be authorized by the university for enrollment.
- A letter of recommendation will be requested as a hiring requirement.
- During the internship period you will not be able to graduate as you must remain a student.
