VECA Electric & Technologieshas an opening for a Remote Project Accountant for our Mission Critical Division. The Project Accountant manages financial and compliance requirements on assigned projects.

Major Areas of Responsibilities
β’ Prepare monthly contract billings including various documentation required by each General Contractor (GC).
β’ Prepare time & material billings.
β’ Review and understand contractual billing requirements on jobs to ensure accurate and complete
β’ Manage GC and subcontract lien waivers to ensure timely
β’ Review job cost transactions and process cost transfers as
β’ Compile monthly substantiations including all supporting
β’ Assist with compiling information for audit
β’ Maintaining department PMOR & compiling end-of-month reporting for company Controller & Division Manager.
β’ Monitor accounts receivables and assist with collection efforts.

Qualifications
β’ 2-year college degree
β’ 2-5 yearsβ accounting
β’ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, especially
β’ Previous construction industry experience is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with Spectrum
Compensation & Benefits:
β’ Industry Leading Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
