Description and Requirements
The Project Manager Associate represents and advances Healthfirst interests in the provider market as the preferred and ultimately preeminent plan through superior customer service. The incumbent provides project management support and represents commitment to developing and managing a high-performance network. The Project Manager Associate is responsible for assisting various provider engagement and operations strategies that follow four core principles: Quality, Clinical Efficiency, Administrative Efficiency and Population Health.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project plans, create agendas, document minutes, and follow-up on meeting takeaways
- Assists the Project Manager in managing project execution, resource deployment and overall coordination efforts
- Maintain project trackers that highlight key deadlines and project statuses to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and to budget
- Work with Project Managers on different workflows and processes created to support our provider delivery systems
- Work with external clients on an ad hoc basis and maintain positive working relationship with owner and partner hospitals, key providers, and vendors as needed
- Assist with creative processes for new content and maintain integrity of existing content for large scale documents
- Assist with pulling and analyzing data to identify trends
- Comply with HIPAA requirements and maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) confidentiality of member, provider, medical and departmental information; adhere to local, state, federal and Healthfirst specific compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
- HS Diploma or GED from an Accredited Institution
- Experience related to customer services, network management, provider relations, or healthcare
- Work experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Work experience requiring effective communication verbally and in writing while demonstrating good grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to facilitate resolution to issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge of Audit and compliance standards
- Medicare and/or Medicaid managed care experience
- Experience with MHS, Macess, and/or electronic archiving
- Provider office operations experience
- Ability to understand Provider reimbursement
- Contract negotiation experience
- Professional Writing skills (Letter writing, Memos and Email)

Hiring Range:
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $67,200 - $97,155
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $59,800 - $88,910
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
In addition to your salary, Healthfirst offers employees a full range of benefits such as, medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hiring range is defined as the lowest and highest salaries that Healthfirst in "good faith" would pay to a new hire, or for a job promotion, or transfer into this role.
