Job Description

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Project Manager. This role will lead project teams in the management and successful delivery of assigned projects/client relationships and will provide out of office cover as required. Support project management teams in the management and successful delivery of assigned projects and will provide out of office cover as required. Will be the Catalent advocate and the client advocate. Responsible for developing solution-based approaches to project issues and customer relationship management. Responsible for communicating via teleconference as well as e-mail and other forms of client communication. Promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job. Will focus on professionalism and customer service excellence when working with all internal and external clients. Display a high degree of independent judgment and analyses to complete the responsibilities of this position.

This is a full-time role position: Monday - Friday, Days.

Catalent's Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.

The Role

  • Under own direction for assigned projects or in support of a PM team, coordinate projects from award stage to completion ensuring correct planning timelines are generated, monitored and tracked to ensure successful adherence and completion.
  • Lead the implementation of new clinical and/or commercial projects including aspects of material qualification, master batch records, process validation, validation master plan and commercial supply agreements.
  • Attend and produce minutes and actions for client meetings/teleconferences/client visits and audits to support assigned projects or PM team and understand full scope requirements to generate all required project documentation.
  • Determine approach to be utilized, plan and help execute work independently with minimal supervision. Take a lead role in successful and timely launch and subsequent campaigns.
  • Receive, monitor and manage client supplied label text/randomizations, drug, components and materials and ensure delivery to internal functions as required.
  • Manage inventory reporting and monitor and track client inventory in line with project requirements.
  • Accurately forecast M&P revenue, PM revenue, and supply chain to support S&OP and site forecast process.
  • Collect KPI data and provide to internal teams and client. Review contracts, investigate and propose solutions for disputed invoices, and effectively manage invoice queries to ensure timely resolution and payment.
  • All other duties as assigned;

The Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 1+ year in a customer service or appropriate business-related area.
  • Experience in project implementation plans and ERP System highly preferred.
  • Experience leading the initiation of projects in a cGMP regulated industry or validation experience with commercial pharmaceutical projects is desired
  • Working knowledge of commercial supply agreements, validation master plans, process validation and rolling forecasts. Experience authoring these documents is preferred
  • Good Time Management/Organizational skills adopting a committed approach to providing a high level of customer service required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with internal and external customers, peers and managers.
  • Well organized with ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds;
