Job Description

AECOM has a position available for a Senior Project Manager - Water / Wastewater Treatment Plant to be located in the Greater Dallas / Ft. Worth area (DFW) of Texas. The Project Manager will join our expanding Water Group. This position may include client management with municipal contracts.

Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to, the following:

Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project. Municipal water quality studies, disinfection, water supply sustainability, water systems design (water treatment plants, pump stations, etc.), energy evaluations

Safe Drinking Water Program audits

Audits of water treatment plants

Water main replacement analysis, water vulnerability and emergency response Municipal Projects may include: water and/or waste water treatment facilities, combined sewer overflow facilities sanitary sewer stations booster pump stations transmission and/or distribution mains

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Texas P.E. license, 10+ years of water/wastewater industry experience, 10+ years of project management experience
