Job Summary
AMPAMis seeking a highly organized and proactiveProject Manager (PM)to oversee the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in construction of multifamily projects throughout California.
The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project coordination, including permitting, budgeting, field support, submittal review, RFI management, and subcontractor oversight. The successful candidate will ensure all project activities are executed with precision, efficiency, and in alignment with established timelines. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for a resourceful and detail-oriented individual looking to make a meaningful impact within a high-performing team at a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:(But not limited to the following)
Γ The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes of work for each project assigned
Γ As a key member of our team, the Project Manager will work directly with the company's Project Executive and will collaborate with the General Contractor/ Construction Management team, designers, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, etc. to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality projects
Γ The ideal candidate is an organized and skilled construction management professional, with strong leadership skills, meticulous quality orientation, and proven problem-solving abilities
Γ The Project Manager is responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution - on time and within budget
Γ Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to translate project objectives into actionable and coordinated design products
Γ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
Γ Regularly communicate project updates to senior management and relevant partners, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Γ Provide field support to our self-performing construction team
Γ Coordinate with the procurement team to source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for the project
Γ Assist in developing and monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial targets
Γ Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards
Γ Assist in coordinating construction activities, ensuring compliance with design plans, building codes, applicable laws, and regulations
Γ Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards
Γ Address any construction-related issues promptly and efficiently to minimize delays or disruptions
Γ Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering, sales and marketing, to ensure effective coordination and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Γ Foster positive relationships with partners, clients, contractors, government agencies, etc
Γ Address management concerns, inquiries, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
Γ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (strongly preferred)
Γ 5+ years of ground-up construction experience
Γ Experience managing construction projects at $20 million+
Γ Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling and safety practices
Γ Knowledge of project management software
Γ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Γ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Γ Multifamily preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
