Project Manager

Manages and oversees all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for tracking scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors. Works closely with different department heads to gather information, schedule meetings and follow up on action items. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates and design.
• Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements.
• Provide direction to contractors, consultants, and project team.
• Optimizes or redesigns project flows to meet project requirements.
• Maintain all project related documents.
• Coordinates input from and participation with various other departments within the company as needed to meet project objective.
• Analyze and determine requirements of the project.
• Support in building business cases.
• Track team and project goals and evaluating performance.
• Participate in research and evaluation of available contractors and consultants.
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to inform planning processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Project Management or at least one year of project management or comparable experience
• Project management knowledge, knowledge of PMI process a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Influence others without stated authority
• Strong organization and planning skills
