About the Opportunity Multiple established construction and development companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are seeking an experiencedProject Managerto oversee high-profile multifamily projects throughout the region. Position Overview The successful candidates will be responsible for managing all phases of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through final delivery. These roles require dynamic professionals who can effectively coordinate with diverse teams, manage complex timelines, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards across multiple companies seeking top talent. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Management • Oversee multiple multifamily construction projects simultaneously throughout the DFW metroplex • Coordinate all phases of project development from initial planning through project closeout • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery • Lead cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal staff Stakeholder Communication & Coordination • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams • Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain clear communication channels • Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to senior management • Manage relationships with municipal authorities and regulatory agencies Quality & Compliance Management • Ensure all projects meet or exceed quality standards and building codes • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments • Implement and maintain best practices for project execution Financial Management • Develop and monitor project budgets with attention to cost control • Review and approve change orders and project modifications • Track project profitability and provide financial reporting • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships Required Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in multifamily construction • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex residential projects • Experience managing projects valued at $10M+ preferred Technical Skills • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations • Knowledge of multifamily design and construction best practices • Familiarity with Texas building codes and DFW municipal requirements Professional Skills • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Previous experience with luxury or mixed-use multifamily developments • Established relationships with DFW-area subcontractors and vendors • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes What They'll Offer Comprehensive Compensation Package • Competitive base salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (commensurate with experience) • Performance-based bonuses and incentives • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) plan with company matching • Paid time off and holiday schedule • Professional development opportunities Career Growth & Benefits • Opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects • Collaborative and supportive work environment • Access to cutting-edge technology and tools • Continuing education and certification support • Cell phone and technology stipend Application Process Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume along with a cover letter detailing their relevant experience in multifamily project management.
