We have an immediate opportunity for aProject Managerto work directly with our licensed electrician installation teams to provide outstanding service and project execution for our energy-minded clients. Primary Duties include: • Oversees a team of Field Technicians to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to specification • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs; prepares budget based on estimate • Writes change orders, develops project schedules, and reviews contract documents • Provides regular updates on project status to senior management • Manages project budget including overtime, material, travel, and all aspects within the project bid • Updates project files, closes permits, builds cutsheets, etc. for project close out • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices. • Conducts risk assessment; reports risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate) • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors when issues arise Qualified candidates will have strong attention to detail, excellent organization and the ability to successfully solve problems and meet client expectations. Requirements: • Minimum two years of related experience within the construction industry • Electrical knowledge a plus (ability to learn required) • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and comfortable with mobile technology. • Prior experience with SharePoint and QuickBooks preferred, ability to quickly learn a must • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent organization and proven ability to meet deadlines.
