Project Manager

Sign Age Identity Systems, Inc. is a well established sign contractor specializing in electrical and non-electrical interior and exterior signage. We have an opening on our Project Management team for an experienced individual who takes pride and ownership in project outcomes. About the Role: Sign Age is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with an in depth knowledge of the end-to-end construction process—preconstruction through closeout— capable of running multiple projects concurrently while protecting budget, schedule, scope, and quality. The ideal candidate is proficient at interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Understands and implements change orders, drives the Submittal and RFI workflows. Has knowledge of public projects that require prevailing wage rules, specific documentation related to public work and an ability to deliver on time and on budget. Key Responsibilities: • Own project delivery from contract award through closeout across multiple projects including (planning, procurement, execution, installation, punch/turnover). • Build, maintain and follow baseline schedules. • Manage budgets. • Drive the RFI, submittal, and document control process, coordinate with General Contractor’s, inspectors and vendors. • Prepare, price, negotiate, and track change orders; maintain a clear log with cost/time impacts. • Lead meetings with internal manufacturing departments. • Ensure prevailing wage labor compliance (as a non-union company, we are required to utilize union workers for public projects). • Produce monthly pay applications, schedule of value(s), and supporting documentation. • Oversee procurement & logistics (long-lead tracking, submittals, fabrication, delivery coordination). • Produce O&M manuals; closeout documents and as-builts. • Maintain project reporting: cost reports, schedules, RFI/CO logs, manpower plans, and client updates. Minimum Qualifications: • 7–10+ years project management experience in commercial construction. • Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects ranging in value from$5,000 to over $4 million. • Expert with RFIs, submittals, change orders, cost control, and pay apps. • Direct experience with prevailing wage projects, including apprenticeship ratios. • Proficiency with construction-related software and the Microsoft software suite. • Excellent communication and leadership; able to drive accountability with owners, GCs, internal departments and vendors. • Valid driver’s license: ability to visit job sites as needed. Preferred: • Experience in signage/specialties/subcontracting. • OSHA 30 • Basic estimating knowledge (takeoffs/pricing). Compensation: Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, and experience. The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $125,000.00.
