Project Manager and Estimator

Bay Area ornamental iron, and specialty item contractor is looking for qualified Estimator / Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Job Duties: 1) Communicate and coordinate with customers on bid requests. 2) Break down bids by cost codes. 3) Read and analyze blue prints. 4) Work with management on bid and quote preparations. 5) Prepare bid estimates and quotes for customers. 6) Track all bids and follow up on all open bids. 7) Prepare project budgets. 8) Coordinate with various departments on scheduling requirements. 9) Coordinate and communicate pre-construction meetings. 10) Ensure project materials are delivered in timely manner. 11) Review costs. 12) Work with customers in applying any additional or decrease in costs to project potential change orders. 13) Manage project compliance and completion. Job Qualifications: 1) Three (3) years of construction estimating and sales experience. 2) Accomplished in quantity take-off and job costing. 3) Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, And Adobe. 4) Strong background in small and mid-sized jobs with proven ability to estimate and manage multiple projects at one time. 5) Detail-Oriented, motivated and self driven. 6) Strong communication and problem solving skills 7) Knowledge of construction products 8) Ornamental Iron experience is a plus.
