Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lighting Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of lighting and control systems projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting technologies, control systems, and project management best practices. As a Lighting Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring successful execution while adhering to budget and timeline requirements. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality installations. Key responsibilities will include managing project schedules, coordinating resources, tracking milestones, and ensuring that all rebate and incentive processes are efficiently handled. Additionally, you will ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle and maintain strong client and vendor relationships to achieve exceptional project outcomes Responsibilities and Duties: • Lead all aspects of lighting and control projects, from proposal to completion, ensuring client satisfaction. • Coordinate and schedule site surveys, installations, and post-installation inspections for seamless project execution. • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met for both internal and external stakeholders. • Identify project risks and proactively communicate delays or issues, offering solutions to keep the project on track. • Work with clients to identify available rebate programs and submit all required documentation to maximize energy efficiency incentives. • Stay updated on the latest rebate programs, incentive structures, and deadlines to ensure the best financial benefit for clients. • Conduct site surveys to assess lighting and control needs, documenting site conditions through photos, videos, and notes. • Prepare and submit detailed proposals, including scope of work, lighting specifications, control systems, and pricing. • Collect and organize all required project documents (cut sheets, W-9 forms, electrical bills, agreements) for internal use and rebate processing. • Schedule and coordinate installation activities, ensuring timely and efficient execution with the right resources and materials. • Collaborate with electricians, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality installations and timely project completion. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing project status updates, installation schedules, and rebate progress. • Track project milestones, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects stay within scope and reporting regularly to senior management. • Perform post-installation inspections, ensuring installations meet project specifications and customer expectations. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in energy efficiency electrical engineering, architecture, or a related technical field. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, specifically in lighting and controls systems. • Proven experience in project management, specifically in lighting systems, control technologies, or energy efficiency projects. • Strong understanding of lighting systems, controls, and energy-saving technologies. • Experience managing incentive and rebate programs • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams. • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address issues proactively. • Experience with energy efficiency incentives and rebate programs. • Knowledge of electrical systems and lighting controls. • Experience with advanced lighting controls and automation systems. • Certification in project management or related fields (e.g., PMP, LEED).
