Job Description
You will contribute to the development and coordination of CGMA programs and strategies. This includes a focus on achieving team goals and ensuring positive member/user experiences through understanding the market and members, and manage content delivery to support the team web presence, conferences, meetings, and print.
You will manage activities of executive committees and subcommittees coordinating with internal and external partners, with primary focus on members, and you'll be responsible for MA (Management Accounting) websites and direction of content. Accountable for activities team wide (Technical, FLP, Marketing, EOS Survey, NCSU survey) to meet strategic goals of the AICPA/Association and team goals. You'll report to the Associate Technical Director of Research and Development. This role is a hybrid of occasional work from our Durham, NC office and opportunity to work remotely. Some travel will be required.
Role Details:
Project Management
- Provide project management on committees and task forces, including research and analytics activities.
- Collaborate with Association teams (i.e. web, graphics, finance, ELI teams) to ensure that accepted practices are followed and member needs are exceeded.
- Manage small and medium sized projects, such as development of new member resources, member committee events and other programs
- Ensure entire team is supported with information for successful completion of goals and member needs.
Research:
- CGMA research, including general level as well as technical areas within management accounting
- Execute research needs following project plans
- Plan, Coordinate, deploy and collate employer surveys and data collation
Procurement Management
- Assist in the budgeting process and with team inventory
Web and Content Management
- Manage the MA (Management Accounting) content on websites and social media platforms.
Communication & Outreach
- Deliver team and member service, including providing guidance and responses to internal and external inquiries.
- Ensure positive member/user experiences through understanding the market and members.
You Have:
- Experience with project management and project coordination
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
