Publishing Coordinator

As the Publishing Coordinator, you’ll get to support and help expand the reach of Elevation Worship Records’ writers and songs.

• Help set up songwriting sessions for our main writers
  • Organize times, travel, lodging, etc…
  • Communicate with other writers/teams on logistics
  • Reach out to other publishers for writing options when needed
  • Receive songwriting requests and communicate those to the appropriate project managers
  • Organize & keep track of all songs in songspace
• Work with Business Manager on collecting information for songwriting agreements
• Assist new songwriters within the organization with getting co-writes set up
• Take notes in publishing-related meetings and project manage any tasks that come from those meetings
• Work with Label Director on carrying out publishing priorities 
• Organize writing camps 
  • Send official invites, manage RSVPs, book spaces, order meals, and book travel & transportation when needed
• Create and maintain relationships with labels and writers within the industry
• Maintain knowledge of songs and writers within and outside of the organization keeping in mind future publishing opportunities/signings
• Create and distribute monthly publishing reports detailing co-writes, cuts, and charting positions
• Other duties as assigned

Must-haves:

Familiarity with Christian music songs, writers & publishing companies

Familiarity with CCLI & weekly church resource partner charts

Strengths in organization, relationship building & attention to detail

Nice-to-haves:

Prior experience at a Christian music publishing company

Familiarity with Elevation Church
