QA Automation Engineer

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be part of a motivated engineering team. You will be working on the Qualys "Next-generation Platform". Working with a team of engineers you will be responsible for testing services, platform and work on customer engagements and onboarding for successful product adoption. This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a team building Qualys’ next generation platform processing over a 100 million transactions and terabytes of data per day, leverage open-source technologies, and work on challenging and business-impacting projects.

Responsibilities :

• Develop test plan and automation working closely with PM, engineering, and other stakeholders by working on requirements and dev to understand design.
• Writing and executing test case and update reports on daily basis.
• Perform E2E testing and monitoring in Production.
• Identify defects early in cycle & work closely with Dev towards closure.
• Analyze requirements & work with engineering stakeholders on stabilization of the product area.
• Automate test cases.
• Fixing automation suits in case of failures
• Monitor trends and enhance automation.
• Validate end to product and make sure smooth Production deployment.
• Follow and implement best QA practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Overall 4+ years of work experience in testing and automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications
• Hand-on experience in Java / Python / Robot framework or any other scripting language is required.
• Hands on experience of UI and API automation.
• Strong experience in integrating automation and CI/CD build processes.
• Managing QA Environments as well as working with build management tools like Git, Bamboo, Jenkins.
• Linux knowledge is must.
• Troubleshooting of application, network issue and Knowledge of testing web application security and vulnerabilities is a big plus.
• Experience in the Security domain is an advantage.
• Prior experience of working with a globally distributed team is a plus.
• Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers is a plus.
