The Role

We are hiring for a QA Engineer in our New York City office. As our project scope and number of software projects grow, we need to enhance our processes and procedures to facilitate the efficient deployment and maintenance of software. Due to the growing nature of our projects and team, we are looking for someone to fill a blended role.This role reports to the Head of QA.

What You Own

• Create automated tests around Operational Acceptance Testing using strategies such as Load and Performance, Fail over Testing, Recovery Testing
• Collaborate on Quality Assurance aspects of the SDLC which will include test case management, automated test writing, and verifying the software specifications are met
• Automating build testing and deployment management within a containerized environment
• Assist with configurations on various QA environments

Requirements

What You Have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years' experience in Automated testing experience
• Must have experience with Linux
• An ideal candidate has had experience with Java or Python
• Bitbucket, Docker, Postgres, TestNG, Postman, and Ubuntu experience is heavily desired as those are the tools already implemented. Payments experience is a plus.
