QA Engineer Lead

What responsibilities you can expect:

The purpose of this role is to find someone who can level up our QA Process by working to shift us away from manual testing as much as possible. We are looking for someone to take ownership and responsibility of the entire QA Engineering/Automation function which includes: researching / integrating / running automated testing tools, working with our Manual QA Team to automate more and more of our QA process, and eventually hiring and managing additional QA Engineering Staff to support you. We are looking for someone who can "champion" the goals of a more mature QA process for us.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience in enterprise web applications (Examples: Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, etc. + Automating scripts using Java, Python, Shell, etc. + REST/SOAP Services testing with Jmeter, Rest Assured, SoapUI, TestRail, etc.)
• 2+ years of QA experience in iOS and Android mobile applications (Examples: Appium, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team of QA professionals
• Skilled writer of detailed issue documentation and test plans
• Demonstrated experience in test planning for complex features & systems
• Experience with tracking coverage, progress, and results of testing in software application lifecycle management tools
• Experience in automating test scenarios with goals to reduce the time and cost of testing over the lifecycle of the application, and to improve test coverage
• Experience monitoring software quality issues that are detected after release, triaging issues, and working with development team to release fixes
