QA Engineer (World of Warships, PC, Tech&Tools Team)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а QA Engineer (Tech&Tools Team) to work on World of Warships in our Belgrade office.

The Tech&Tools Team is engaged in the implementation of new technologies for the development team and players (e.g. new animations or new features for editors, with the help of which content is created, or implementation of ray tracing technology support, etc.), optimization (improvement of game performance, memory handling, etc.).

The primary focus of this position is to provide a quality assessment of new functionalities of various complexity, stabilize versions, and test tech solutions.

What will you do?

• Creating and maintaining test documentation in actual
• Creating test scenarios
• Performing tech improvement testing
• Cooperating and communicating with different teams inside the project
• Work independently on certain types of testing

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer 
• Understanding of the software development cycle and the role of testing within it
• Knowledge of testing methods and techniques
• Experience in developing test scenarios (test cases and checklists)
• Experience with bug trackers (we use Jira)
• Experience with version control systems (we use Git)
• Experience with Testrail, Allure, or others
• Ability to plan your time and the time of developers
• Communication skills, team player
• Intermediate English level or higher
• Readiness for office work in Belgrade, Serbia

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Automation experience
• Experience in Python or any scripting language
• Working with artifacts such as dump files

Tech Team Tools:

- Version control systems
- Performance measurement and analysis tools (e.g. Telemetry Performance Visualization System (radgametools.com))
- Tools for collecting, processing and analyzing client crashes and hangs
- WinDBG, Visual Studio, PyCharm
- TeamCity, Jira + Confluence, Testrail, Allure
- Working with Internal self-written tools
