Overview The Records Management - Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the comprehensive oversight, administration, and management of the Region 3 Records Management Support Task Order. The incumbent will serve as the principal point of contact with the federal government stakeholders, leading all contract activities, from staff management and process improvement to quality assurance and deliverable submission, while ensuring full compliance with all Federal and NARA records management regulations and policies. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all daily operations of the contract and project team, ensuring consistent contract performance, task completion, and adherence to agency policies. • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate with staff, including the assignment and evaluation of work, leave management, and performance measurement. • Serve as the primary liaison between the government and contractor staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution of issues. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, quality assurance documentation, and regular status reports. • Lead or participate in kickoff meetings, biweekly and ad hoc status briefings, and mandated records-management meetings. • Ensure the timely submission of all required deliverables, such as progress reports, meeting minutes, SOPs, and transition plans. • Monitor and manage program costs, billing, and ensure accuracy of program-specific cost allocation and invoicing in accordance with contract requirements. • Oversee the development, revision, and implementation of SOPs, process workflows, and technical documentation as required. • Foster a culture of compliance with NARA, OMB, and other federal requirements regarding records lifecycle management. Required Qualifications Education: • Master’s degree or equivalent in Library Science, Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related fieldORBachelor’s degree in the above fields with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as detailed below. • Preferred NARA training or certification Experience: • Demonstrated experience in developing project plans, strategic goals, and reporting project progress against milestones. • Proven capability to manage teams performing federal records management and information lifecycle activities. • Experience with federal records management standards and NARA requirements is highly desired. • Familiarity with complex IT systems, project management software, and federal records management tools is preferred.
